Round trigger gard, very sharp cylinder scene and all proof marks very good. Serial number 15000 and all parts matching . This is a 3rd model dragoon made in 1856 from my research

The presented object appears to be a Colt 3rd Model Dragoon percussion revolver. It has all parts matching serial number 15000 and was probably made regarding this serial number in the year 1856. It should have a 44 caliber and the top of the barrel is marked "Address Saml Colt New-York".
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An auction estimation would be between 4.000 to 7.000 USD.
