Dear Anita,
Thank you for the additional information and your patience. This is a print on canvas with the measurements of 21 x 31 inches. It depicts the view from the Seine river to the cathedral Notre-Dame in Paris. This is the most famous church and site in Paris. So this very famous spot was printed as a print to get sold as a souvenir. This piece was made in the last third of the 20th century. On the print, we can read the label of the company Creation Sonacott. This company produces mainly decorative prints.
An estimation would be between 20 to 40 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
I am not sure what you wanted me to say about the painting. Here is my thoughts. I hope this helps.
This painting was done on a thin fabric stretched across a wooden backing. It depicts a moment that was possibly captured in the 18th or early 19th hundreds of a crowded double decked boat on a river at sunset. The river reflects the colors of the green an red or the plants that hang over a wall that runs horizontal to the boat. The sky is lit with red and a hit of green and grey. A brown maybe wooden Victorian styled building with a clock tower stands amidst a lush garden of tall trees like a monument. The artist's seemed to pay close attention to the building's architectural design, maybe to acknowledge the era.
The art work is is approximately 3 to 5 pounds in weight and is brightly colored.
