Good day, I own a small Carmelo Soraci stained glass which is framed. It is an image of Madonna and child and is called MADONNA AND CHILD on the work. It is approx. 16 inch by 16 inch. It is quite beautiful. Carmelo Soraci did the stained glass windows at the chapels at Sing Sing prison and at Clinton State prison in New York. Carmelo Sporaci published a book in 1961 called 'The Convict And The Stained Glass Windows" which tells this story. The small stained glass was given to my father by the artist in the 1960's while my father served as chaplain at Sing Sing prison. The house in Weslaco, TX and its contents where the stained glass window resides is owned by me. My parents have passed. I wish to sell this via private sale, or by auction if you think that is best. I believe it is very valuable. His stained glass in the prison chapels have been valued at a quarter million. I am a retired 66 year old man and, for economic reasons, would like to put this on the market. I have pictures of the work with indoor light which is not best, outdoor light is better. The work can be hung in front of an exterior window or displayed indoors, as I have done, with light installed at the back. Bryan William Bloom 715 N.
