This is an original glass sculpture by Dale Chihuly, from his Persians series, consisting of two pieces. In pristine condition, with the original plexiglass container it came with. Purchased in 2008, from the Bellevue Art Museum, WA, for $4,995 (excl. tax).
The case is a 12.5 inch (32 cm) cube, with a 1.25 inch (3 cm) base

I would assume - based on the price you paid - that this is an original (Chihuly didn't sign all of his pieces) and have valued it accordingly.

Hi Delia, Thanks for your message. I cannot find a signature on the glass itself. I have the original receipt of purchase from the the Bellevue Art Museum, but I cannot find a certificate of authenticity. I wonder if the museum could provide one, after all these years? very best, Aaron
