My sister's mother in-law gave it to about 30 years ago, both are deceased.
Thank you for the additional information. This is a Chinese ink painting probably made in the late 1900s or 20th century. The seal is unidentifiable. The signature in black ink reads 文 (wen: literature) and the second character is unreadable. I was unable to identify the artist, unfortunately.
