A Regency mahogany secretary desk
English, circa 1830-40
Of rectangular section and in two parts, the upper recessed section with outstepped molded cornice with shaped backsplash over a molded fall-front opening to a divided interior with pigeon holes, short drawers and prospect doors, the larger lower case fitted with two outset short drawers over two long drawers flanked by fluted pilasters, on a shortened frame.
