American, probably late first quarter 20th Century (1920s)
The jointed composition doll with painted features and sleeping eyes, wearing an original pink linen dress with cream lace trim, cream knit socks and black Mary Jane shoes. Dress labeled.
18 inches tall
CONDITION: some wear from age and use, minor cracking.
PROVENANCE: inherited

yes- I believe this doll is a "patsy" doll-the doll is not marked-the dress is marked with a Madame Alexander tag
