I find it too difficult to bring the print down and check the back . There are Japanese writing on the print but I assume they are statements to the illustration. I received it through inheritance originally from my great aunt in England. I believe it is in rice paper.

Dimension under boarder line from frame( 31" wide by 18" high) is 27" by 13".
