This painting was given to my grandfather after WWI. He was a colonel in the US Army and appointed to supervise reconstruction by Eisenhower. He lived in the home of Prince Fujiti in Hirosaki, Japan. My father got antibiotics for the Prince who's son was dying and saved his life. This is one of many items the Prince gave my grandfather in 1947.
