Mixed-media fine art sculpture statue of Maleficent showcased in both her Fairy and Dragon forms, and inspired by her appearance in Walt Disney’s Sleeping Beauty animated film (1959) A hand-cast solid bronze figurine of Maleficent wielding her staff as she summons “…All The Powers Of Hell!” is suspended inside a crystal clear Lucite acrylic sculpture, which includes the bottom portion of her flaring, scalloped overgown and an upward transformation into the fiery Dragon. The bronze Maleficent figurine has been colored with hand-applied hot-torched patinas and finished with hand-painted details. The molded Lucite Dragon transformation sculpt features deep-etched flames and is hand-finished with a combination of sandblasting, etching and high-gloss polishing.
