Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a beautiful limited edition doll. Such limited edition toys are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
Francine Cee moulded her dolls after 19Century French porcelain dolls. Many of her dolls came in a limited edition and are today collectors items. The selling prices depend on the condition of the doll. In your case the doll is in mint condition with the original box.The number in the editions vary some are 200, 500 and in this case 1000. This means that there was made 1000 dolls like yours, the high number affects the price as there are still quite a few Rosie dolls on the market. Perhaps in a few years time the prices will have gone up when some of the other dolls have deteriorated, however at present the doll is in the lower end of the pricescale.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online toys auction, where I believe the Francine Cee doll has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the doll. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
