Hand-made, beautiful woodwork and detail. Counter top is 35" across, about 18 " depth and 36" high. Shelves for food warmers, interior ice bin for liquor bottles with brass drain. Detailed hand woodwork and shelf on back board. Cabinets doors with original brass fixtures open and shut perfectly. Nothing is wrong with the piece. Do not know what kind of wood it is.
This liquor stand/ bar was purchased from an estate sale and was said to be from 1900-1915 and thought to be French.
Dear Tauma,
Thank you for your request. This is a hutch made around 1900 in France. It is made out of oak wood and has brass fittings. The decoration of the wooden parts is still in traditional. In contrast to that the fittings show chracteristics of the Art Nouveau. The hutch is in a good condition and just minor damages are visible.
An estimation would be between 200 to 500 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
