Considering the photographs, overall pattern, knot density and the colours, I concluded that this is a Contemporary likely Hand Tufted and Embroidered. The piece likely dates back to the period from 1970 to 2000. The piece follows a floral classical pattern native to French Aubusson Rugs. The piece's alignment is quite symmetrical with elegant details. The piece is centrally decorated with a central medallion. The medallion has a flower bouquet inside it which crowns the whole rug. The dyes used to colour the piece are industrial dyes. The central area was characterized with golden decorative arches and also floral ornamentation in matte tones. On all four corners the piece has a semi medallion shaped as triangles and florally decorated as well on a khaki base. The centralarea is knotted on an ivory base. The border of the piece are characterized with red, gol and beige tones. The motifs are rendered in good quality and clearly. The piece is knotted woolon wool. The piece is in good condition without visible problems.
