3 feet 6 inches tall and two feet across. 17 inches deep. Rolling with wheels on bottom. It was my aunt’s. It had tiny aperitif and champagne and cordial glasses hanging in some of the holes but they seem to small for stemware? It locks with a skeleton key. Opens and extends on top

Do you know the types of glasses it would hold? Some of the holes are really small. Maybe a fluted glass? But would have to be small.

Delia Mar 05, 19:46 UTC

What is the diameter of the holes?

Alexis mills Mar 05, 19:48 UTC

There are 2 at only 1.5 inches and the rest all 2.75 inches. Small.

Shot glasses would be my guess. I think these were not for stemware but for barware (tumblers, rocks glasses etc) that don't have breakable / fragile stems. Also, with the exception of martini and margarita glasses, stemware feet are typically about as large as the body (so as not to tip) so whatever was in these would not have been inverted. Does that make sense?

Alexis mills Mar 05, 21:30 UTC

Yes thank you. There were some really tiny cordial glasses and what looked like champagne glasses in there but just a few.

Delia Mar 05, 21:33 UTC

I suspect if there were original glasses with this they've long since been broken...
