This is the first time I have ever done anything like this, so will read up on FAQ’s. Is the commission payable the responsibility of the buyer or seller and will auctions be aimed at UK market or wider afield?
Mearto works with auction houses around the world. Since the artist is British and his work primarily sells in the UK, I would imagine those houses would have the most interest. The buyer's premium, or commission on a sale is the responsibility of the buyer.
Thank you, could you advise how I enter this for sale with a reserve at the higher end of your valuation as I would be keen to sell
