8.5 x 11.5 Black ink drawing on white paper.
Has been in fathers family since it was drawn. No idea who the artist is.
Dear Terence,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay with the apprisal.
The presented object appears to be a drawing on paper with the measurements of 11.5 x 8.5 inches. The drawing depicted the portrait of a woman in the fashion of the 1920s or 1930s. The drawing is sadly signed not clearly readable and with the number "15". The quality of the paper, the coloring of the paper, and the style of the drawings are a hint that this drawing was made in the last decades and not in the year 1915. Sadly a paper from the 1910s would be more yellowed and would have a different structure.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 20 to 40 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
George
