Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This sideboard features quarter sawn oak at the front which was popular especially during the first quarter of the 20th century. The arts and crafts style Stuart drop brass handles would perfectly fit to the period.The circular markings around the handles were caused by the handles when they swing out and the screw is loose at the same time. The estimate is based on similar sideboards offered or sold at auction.
