Japanese Hibachi 90 years in my family Great conversation piece One large copper-lined receptacle can facilitated the preparation of food, With one long drawer and four small, deep drawers. This is an authentic Hibachi made from Keyaki wood, which is considered the most precious wood in Japan. It has a copper lined basin used for coal, ashes, or sand used to cook or to warm a room. It has a separate side board measuring 7 x 15" used for serving utensils which includes the original brass chop sticks. It is in very good condition considering the age. The sides of the hibachi are dovetailed. The drawers have original bronze handles. This is the only one I've seen complete with cover, and side board and in great condition Size: 29 L x 20 W x 13 H.
