I own a Keith Haring piece, it's 66cm x60cm, mixed media on paper, signed and dated 1988. I bought this at Denhams Auctioneers and Valuers here in UK in 1998 as a genuine Keith Haring and it's hung on my wall with the rest of my collection for the last 20 years. I'm regarded as quite a prolific fine art collector; my collection is extensive, I've loaned pieces to the London Design Museum (Google me!). However, any documentation (invoice etc.) which I was given on purchase has been lost over the last 20 years. I have contacted Denhams but was told that they do not keep records dating back to 1998 so are unable to help me. I've checked the back of the piece and there are no markings. The auction houses I've spoken to all go cold when I say I have no authentication. I'm aware that the Keith Haring Foundation that used to authenticate his work no longer offers this service and it seems that my reputation/ownership of the piece is not provenance enough. I do know that in 1988, Haring was using mixed media techniques and religious imagery in his Apocalypse portfolio (Keith Haring 'Apocalypse 10' 1988), very similar to that in my piece, also dated 1988.

The closest comparable to your piece was sold in 2007 at Christie's for $21,000; here is the link to it on AskArt (It was estimated at $15,000-20,000)

Your piece includes his dancing figures which that one does not. The market for Haring remains strong, though his mixed media works are less consistent so in this case a conservative estimate seemed prudent.
