This is a hand painted papier-mâché tissue box. I am not sure of its origin. There are not many items like this on the market. I found one that was most similar priced at $55. Others that were either similar in material but not tissue boxes or were tissue boxes of different materials also were priced around $50. Below are links to some examples for you to compare.
