The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil paint on canvas with 61 x 50 inches measurements. The painting is a copy of a painting by the German artist Hubert Salentin (1822-1910) with the title "TheYoung Sheep Tenders". This is a detailed copy made by a Chinese copyist in the last third of the 20th century. The signature Purcell is a nom-de-plume.
Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in medium condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided.
