Joel,
Might it be OK with you if a consulted with a former colleague who has greater experience with brass pieces of this kind? It won't cost you additionally but it may take a few more days to get an answer for you on these.
Please advise,
Delia
Delia. It is fine to speak to anyone you would like. Thanks
Thanks, Joel,
My colleague is of the opinion that these are European (Continental) and probably Italian, 18th Century. The market for these is, unfortunately, not very strong and a current fair-market value may well fall below your family's "sentimental value" but I did not want to give you an inflated idea of their worth if you are interested in selling them.
Do let me know if you have questions or additional items to appraise.
Thanks,
Delia
