Material and Craftsmanship • The entire Qur’an is written in gold ink. • It is inscribed on parchment (animal skin). • The original cover is made of leather. • There might have been a signature or seal on the inner part of the cover, but it appears to have faded over time. • The approximate weight of the manuscript is around 5 kg, although this is not an exact measurement. 3. Script and Content • The script used is Thuluth. • It is a complete Qur’an with no missing verses. • There are ornamental decorations at the beginning and end of the manuscript. • Page dimensions: 60.5 x 43 cm; Writing area: 44 x 28 cm. 4. Condition and Restoration • The manuscript is in very good condition, with no signs of damage or restoration. • The opening page (Al-Fatiha) has a vertical tear, but it does not affect readability or the overall quality of the page. 5.
