What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a late 19th century porcelain figural group of a flute playing cavalier and a lady playing the lute or guitar, seated on a sofa, dressed in 18th century fashion. Marked at the underside with a Meissen imitation mark. This might be Edme Samson Paris or another quality manufacturer from Thuringia, but definitely not Meissen.
The estimate is based on similar offered or sold at auction.
