The previous owner gave me the last 50 years of paperwork, receipts etc. According to a receipt I came across the wood is Teak Denmark oil finish. Length is 165 inches x 9 ft tall
We purchased a one owner midcentury home built in 1960. I was told by the owners son that the wall shelving unit was purchased when the house was built.
This is a vintage mid 20th century, about 1950 - 1960's, Danish Modern, Mid Century Modern style 4 section standing wall unit with cabinets, shelves and one unit with a work desk area. These came with a receipt stating they are teak and were made in Denmark. Generally, these now sell 'by the unit', meaning each one of the four sections in the photos could sell seperately. These are free-standing and not wall hanging units. It is recommended to check in the cabinets for any maker name or manufacturer stamps, tags or labels. The estimate is for all the sections together and is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
