My grandmother purchased the furniture from an antique dealer in Cape Town South Africa. Its origins are either British or French. These scale models were used by travelling salesmen to show potential clients.

A miniature William & Mary style marquetry inlaid and veneered walnut serpentine dresser
British, late 18th Century
The line-inlaid serpentine top with molded edge over corresponding case fitted with three long drawers, all with seaweed, bellflower and ribbon marquetry inlay, all raised on flaring French feet. Back corner of top bears remnants of old label from The British Antiques Dealers Association.
10 1/2 inches high by 14 inches wide by 9 1/4 inches deep
