What does this mean?

Dear Jonathan,

Thank you for this additional image and your patience.

The presented object appears to be a green soapstone carving with measurements of 16 x 7 inches. The statue depicts an abstract geometrical composition and was made and signed by the Inuit artist Tobias Munettsit in the second half of the 20th century. As a comparable, I attach a link: https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/53450715_blue-stone-modern-sculpture-tobias-munettsit
Works by this artist were recently offered but remained unsold on the auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 40 to 80 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,
Georg
