Pre-Columbian ceramic pottery
My parents purchased several of these in the 1990's from a consignment store in Corpus Christi, TX. They have never been exhibited to the best of my knowledge.

A Pre-Columbian style polychrome earthenware vessel
Central American, probably 19th Century
Of ovoid form, the rim with handle painted to look like a face, the body with stylized designs, on a tapered foot. Unmarked
7 inches tall, 7 1/4 inches diameter
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with wear and polychrome losses commensurate with age and use, including minor splits.
PROVENANCE: inherited
