Oak rocking chair
(2) run of chair 32 x 1 inch Height of chair - 40 inches Seat - 19 x19 (2) arm - 19 inches 18.5 inches from arm to run Carvings are on the 4 sections of the front of chair. No carvings on the side of seat or back of chair Seat was re-covered 3 years ago with new stuffing and springs.
All I know is that it belonged to my great grandfather. I have no further details.

The shaped crest centering a relief-impressed Colonial style profile portrait within a wreath of flowers, over a relief-pressed arched rail topping 7 turned spindles, shaped flat arms over an upholstered seat with relief-pressed rail, raised on bulbous turned legs, all on rockers.
Overall height 40 inches; width across arms 19 inches, length of runners 32 inches
CONDITION: condition appears to be good and commensurate with age and use. Reupholstered.
