The oil painting has blue sky with white clouds. There is the Swiss Alps in the background. There is a footbridge crossing a river and the footbridge used to have German soldiers coming across it, and there are pine or fur trees in the mountains on the side a little town that you can see underneath the bridge in the background and a beautiful river Running underneath my dad brought this painting back from Europe. He was in World War II returned in 1945. He was there from 1943 to 45 and there was a Painter painting these paintings out side and my dad picked three of his paintings and brought them back carried them in his backpack for days or weeks till he could get home to the US And they were framed and I’ve hung and our family home for years
