Rugs of this size were usually apart of a dowery and are designed with symbols that promote fidelity, luck, prosperity, and fertility. It was made out of veggable dyes wool and has been hand woven. Based on recent price realizations fro rugs similar to yours, a fair market value estimate would be between 500 and 1000 US dollars.
