Ornate punch bowl set for 12
Hand blown Venetian punch bowl set for 12. The bowl is approx. 11.5 inches high and 9 inches in diameter. The cups are approx 3.5 inches high and 2.5 inches across. The color of the set is a deep, clear ruby red with gold overlay in a pattern and handmade, hand painted flowers on the bowl and cups.
My aunt purchased this in Venice Italy where it was manufactured, in the early 1960's.

This is a vintage 20th century Venetian glass punch bowl set that was made in Murano, Italy. The lidded punch bowl and 12 matching glasses are hand blown in a cranberry red glass with hand applied gilding and hand painted raised enamel flowers. The design was influenced by Bohemian glass ware by Moser from the 19th century. Although the gold is real, there is no longer a precious metal meltdown value as the cost to extract the gold would exceed the value of the amount extracted. The estimate is for the lidded punch bowl and matching cups (the tray is not included in this) and the valuation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
