Hollow bangle like article, rattles when shaken, with primitive chased carvings.
Sold to me by Chinese collector. May have been passed down through her family.
Dear Lisa,
Looks like a silver bangle for a child. Its possible its Miao but decoration is not very clear to do a definite judgment about it. I think the bangle is made mid 20th century and made in East Asia. I cannot be more specific due to the lack of clear characteristics. Soldering is kind of crudely done. Maybe the bangle was repaired in later day's ? If no hallmarks were found it is wise to go to a jewelry store to ask him to test it. It costs little money usually. I have little doubts about is being not silver but just to be sure. Its a lovely little thing. Value is not so important maybe as it is a family piece but I will put an estimate on it to complete this estimation.

Thank you, Simon.
