Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a beautiful silk scarf. Such vintage designer accessories are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
The Hermes scarf has a lovely very classic Hermes design, the colours are beautiful and appears to be clear and the scarf in overall good condition. It is a very good thing that you also have the original box as these little things as the original box or dustbag adds to the value of vintage designer accessories.
I believe that it would attract the attention of both collectors and dealers if it came up for auction.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online vintage designer accessories auction, where I believe the silk scarf has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the beautiful Hermes scarf. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
Thank you
This is the only article I could find on year made . Do u happen to know approx year?
This is a very rare Hermes scarf, sought after by collectors and here believed to be the original issue as it lacks copyright and of course Hugo Grygkar never signed any of his carres. I have seen the issue date being stated as 1948 on other sites and in other resources, but the 1956 has been confirmed by the Maison Hermès.

Thank you for your comment.
The scarf was introduced in 1956. They do come up for auction occasionally. What makes your scarf special is the original box and the good condition.
As for selling your item will be presented for several auction houses, but they tend only to be interested in items worth more than $1000. I would recommend eBay for these kinds of items because of the extended amount of buyers on the platform.
Thank you.
Great, how do I go about setting up for Auction?
P.s. thank for information
