A vintage Haviland Limoges hand-painted cabinet plate
made in France, early 20th Century
Of circular section, with gilt rim and center, light blue banding ornamented with a spray of three cornflowers, marked to the back with retailer's red overglaze mark marked "Hand Painted Exclusive."
8 1/2 inches diameter
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition
PROVENANCE: acquired from a Memphis, Tenn., estate sale

One of the photos I originally sent showed the red maker's mark very clearly. The wording says "hand painted, exclusive." The blown up photo shows the picture between the wording... it is distinctive and I had hoped you could identify it. You mentioned you would amend your appraisal if I provided this information. I have a potential buyer for this plate but would like a better idea of what to charge. Thanks so much.

I've updated this to include the mark. Cabinet plates still bring relatively little money at auction (compared to what antiques dealers price theirs at, sometimes with the expectation of negotiating a price) but I've raised the value of this a little.
