Feels like a porcelain chest as well. Cloth hands and feet. Approximately 14 inches tall, 5 inches wide. She has molded porcelain hair.
As far as I know, this was my Mothers, born in 1916 or my Grandmother's born sometime late 1800's
Dear Mary,
Thank you so much for the additional images. This is a china doll, ca.1860, with brush strokes around the face with a molded gold-tinted snood on the back of her head. She has the original cloth body with kid leather hands and appears to be dressed in if not original, era-appropriate clothing. Unfourtently due to the crack on her face the doll is in poor condition and affects the value. Based on recent price realizations of dolls similar to yours a fair market value would be between 50 and 100 USD. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks
Morgan
Okay, chest photo and kid glove hands added.
Thank you.
