Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a beautiful vintage doll. The doll has a head made of porcelain and clothes original clothes. This type of doll resembling dolls from the early 1900s were very popular in the 1980s-1990s and they were made in large numbers by many different companies. However mass produced porcelain dolls rarely have value beyond their purchase price even when kept in excellent shape. Normally companies producing these dolls would make them in lots of 1000 and upwards. Unfortunately the market value for such dolls has declined in the past few years.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online toys and dolls auction, where I believe the lovely doll has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the doll. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
