What does this mean?

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.

It is a beautiful doll. Such dolls are being offered at auction on a regular basis. The doll is a replica doll of an antique doll made as dolls looked in the early 1900s. The doll is very well modelled and has some lovely features and details. However it is not a doll originating from the late 1800s or the early 1900s. The clothes are made in old fashioned style however from the photos they appear to be newly made based on the way the stitches are made. The doll was made by Pamela Philips who was a wellknown doll maker. Your doll was made around the 1980s-1990s. The market value for such replica dolls has declined in the past few years.

The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online toys auction, where I believe the doll has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the lovely doll. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
Thank you

There is A stamp or print on the back of the head just above the neck “Pamela Phillip” and also netting netting with stitching under her hair to keep her hair in place. I will send photos if you wish. Do I go to the main page to use your photo app? (I am tech lacking)
