I am not sure who made this lamp shade, and neither does the previous owner. It was in his house when he purchased it 10 years ago, and they have related to me that the original home owner's wife considered the lamp shade to be one of her favorite possessions. The home in question was built in 1896 and From what I can tell this lamp shade is made of antique glass with the most amazing textures in which the water elements look just like water, and the entire lamp has an amazing iridescence that looks like embers from a fire getting blown straight at you. Furthermore it is a Tiffany Studios/Clara Driscoll design number 1490. There is no makers mark, just a patinaed brass triangle that is about 0.05" with the numbers 102 stamped into it.
