What does this mean?

This is a vintage late 20th century, art pottery vase that was thrown on wheel and treated with a heavy blue tone matte glaze. This was likely made with clays from the Eastern seaboard of the US, given the thick sandy texture as seen in the image. Being unsigned, and a bit misshapen or wobbly, this was likely done by a student or hobbyist and not through a regional art pottery studio. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
