This item appears to be a Costa Rican tripod vessel Many resources state objects similar to this one are attributed to the Central Highlands Atlantic Watershed area. The image upload shows the object upside down. It is a bit difficult to identify from the image but the embellishments on the tripod supports usually depict exaggerated reptile or aquatic figures. These vessels range in size and your appears to be on the larger size.
