A Classical style quarter sawn oak mantel
first half 20th Century
With rectangular raised backsplash over a rectangular mantelpiece, raised on a frame with applied quarter columns with scrolled Ionic capitals, on outset plinth feet.
Overall dimensions: 58 1/2 inches high, 60 inches wide with a 54-inch shelf length
Interior dimensions: 39 inches high, 41 3/4 inches wide, 9 inches deep
CONDITION: appears to be in generally good condition with some wear commensurate to age and use.
