This doll is about 30” tall. Has the original tag that describes the item. It was kept in a glass case since we got it. We got it sometime between 1979 and 1982 at an auction at Easter Seals (or might have been a March of Dimes) by Dunham in Cottage Grove. I think maybe Susan? There is no damage. Probably got held a dozen times but not once in the last 20-25 years. Just stored behind glass. I remember something special about the hair being human and the non porcelain parts of the body was leather. I can’t see where to add pictures. She’s blond with a blue silk dress. Here is the description the artist gave us with the doll FRENCH BRU CIRCA 1880 The French "BRU" is one of the most sought after of all the old dolls. The original model of this doll recently sold for $16,500.00 dollars attesting to this fact. This particular replica is dressed in all pure silks and has leather shoes, glass paperweight eyes from Europe, and a leather body. She is valued at $360.00 DONATED BY: DUNHAM PORCELAIN ART 36429 Row River Road Cottage Grove, Oregon 97424 942-2836 Thank you

My grandmother won it in an action for me for a local charity. Dunham Art is local and they donated it. It went from Dunham to me.

Great, thank you!
There are no markings that I can find besides under her hair on the back of her neck.
The undergarments are all in terrific condition but the lace on the main dress has aged and is slightly yellow.
I may be able to contact Dunham arts for more history on the doll. They are in a town about 15 minutes away. My mom said Susan Dunham was the one to present the doll to me.
Appraisals are ALWAYS more complete if there is additional information. I'm happy to wait to hear but if you don't think you can get more information just let me know and I'll move forward with this and appraise it with what you've told me so far.
Let’s go with what I have. I’ll try calling them but I don’t expect to get more info
Thanks!!
Thanks, Michelle, you're all set.
Thank you for the quick responses.
I am surprised it never gained any value after 40 years :)
Thanks!
If possible, can you please make this private? Thank you
