My mother bought this artwork for me in a gallery next to and on the same side of the street as the Whitney Museum when it was located on the upper east side of Manhattan (945 Madison Ave). It is in excellent condition. I do not know what the substance is that is thick and uneven upon which the artist drew the outlines of two (sad?) children, a girl and a boy.
