A Chippendale/Federal transitional style mahogany desk-and-bookcase
early 20th Century
In two parts, the upper part surmounted by a broken swan's neck pediment over a cabinet fitted with two glazed and mullioned doors opening to a shelved interior, the lower section with slant-lid desk opening to a divided writing interior, over reverse-serpentine case fitted with four long drawers, all on ball-and-claw feet.
height 71 inches (not including arched split top), width 30 inches, depth 16 inches
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition commensurate to age and use.
