Thank you. This is a low carved wooden table. The shape is often seen in Chinese “kang” tables. I have included links below to hammer prices of some of these to give you an idea of the market. You can often look at the condition of the piece as well as the complexity and exactness of the carving to gauge the value.

Ours is very old you can tell by the screws and also the wood also I found some examples of much more expensive tables that don’t look as old as mine and without the intricate hand carving

There are definitely higher priced kang tables out there. I arrived at my estimate by looking at hammer prices not retail asking prices. Also, I looked at the prices the majority of these tables are going for. You're right that there is a range. It is not unheard of to get a higher price. I still want to give you the estimate as a reflection of the majority of sales, but I saw some that went for several thousand as well. It depends somewhat on the buyer.
