What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This is a japanese transfer printed, party gloss gold printed and hand painted earthenware bowl, which resembles the Satsuma earthenware with a fine crackle glaze. Surprisingly the bowl ist marked 九谷 "Kutani", an area in Japan better known for the porcelain manufacturers. Production date would be 1960s or later, there might have been a cover. The estimate is based on similar items offered or sold at auction. I hope the information provided was helpful to you.
