Good afternoon, Keith,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. Stow & Davis were one of the better companies mass-producing furniture in American in the 20th Century. There are a good number of their pieces on the market with less demand than supply, and collectors paying more for Midcentury Modern designs, of which this is not (this would be characterized as more historical in appearance).
If you'd like this appraisal to include dimensions (it should, ideally), please forward the height, width and depth, in inches, at your convenience.
Based on the photographs and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A Stow & Davis mahogany double-pedestal desk
Kent model #957, Grand Rapids, Mich. mid 20th Century
The rectangular overhanging molded edged top over a frame with a closed kneehole fitted with a (divided?) central drawer flanked by two stacks of four graduated long drawers, each on a box base.
