48x13.5x64 inch Antique China Cabinet made of wood. It has detailed edges made of spiral wood and square-dotted. It also has glass panel doors and some etched glass portions. 5 Shelves and 2 bottom drawers. Both with keyhole locks and original keys. Probably from around 1940 time-frame. It was my grandmothers.
My grandmother owned it. As far as I know she was the original owner. Probably from around 1940 timeframe. I inherited it upon her death approximately 7-8 years ago. She lived in Zanesville, OH for her entire life.
Good evening, Tanya,
Thank you for submitting photographs to Mearto for appraisal.
Based on the photographs and information you've provided, this is a Colonial revival style oak display cabinet with etched glass doors. It was probably made in America in the 1940s or 1950s. It appears to be in good condition. Unfortunately, there are lots of these on the market at the moment and the style is somewhat unpopular now, so supply outweighs demand. It is comparable to ones selling at auction between $300 and $500.
I hope this information is useful to you. Please let us know if you have other items to be appraised, and thank you again for using Mearto.
