What does this mean?

Dear Kass,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.

The presented object appears to be a Webley & Son pocket revolver "The British Bulldog" with a 44 caliber. The gun has a nickel finish and horn grips. It is stamped by Webley & Son, No. 2, and has the serial number 24994.
This piece is in bad to medium condition because of the nickel finish and the missing trigger.
A fair market estimation would be between 80 to 150 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,
Georg
